• Beth Schmidt who ran to raise money for the Foundation in 2004 will once again be running in a marathon to support the Foundation – this time running in Los Angeles. The proceeds will be used to fund scholarship for disadvantaged students at Locke High School in Watts, California. Beth, who is part of the Teach for America program, has been a great advocate of the Foundation and her students.   • The 2007 DoggDay Event held on September 28th was another huge success raising approximately $185,000! Thanks to all of you who were able to join us. To those who were unable to attend, thank you all for thinking of us, supporting us, and helping to provide opportunities to some wonderful young children.   • Ellie Dwyer, Andrew’s youngest sister, was married to Ethan Rice on June 23 of 2007. It was a wonderful event! Ethan and Elly have now moved to Bedford, New York.


  • On June 17, 2006 Andrew’s sister Nancy was married to Joshua Blue Eaves in Fishers Island, New York. With so many of Andrew’s friends there, it seemed like a Doggday reunion. A wonderful time was had by all- Congratulations Nancy and Blue.
