At Doggday 2018 the Foundation was proud to present its annual award to the first First Tee of Connecticut. Andy Dwyer summarized the Foundations long history with the Chapter as well as the impressive accomplishments of the First Tee. Mark Moriarty, its Executive Director, accepted the award and praised the Foundation for its steadfast support over the last fifteen years before giving a brief presentation of the First Tees efforts and accomplishments over the years. The Connecticut organization touched over 74,000 children in last year alone providing golf lessons but more importantly life skills and values. First Tee AKD scholarship winner Dan Schena and his mother joined us for the evening and what a deserving young man.
